why are there chevy and gmc add's everywhere?

lets see some more ford adds.

I have wondered the same thing. Maybe its a sign to sell my ford and get a chevy.

simple answer is the site needs to make money and those are the people that want to pay for the real estate - I think a lot of it has to do with Google metatabs and stuff to identify places to put ads. Actually there is a Ford ad at the top right now which is good but it just makes me laugh because all the other manufacturers are paying to put their ads on a site where 99.9% of us would never think about buying anything else!

I'm on a blackberry and all I see is Discount tire , American trucks , mustang.net and rangerforum. I never see any chebby adds.

I am pretty sure the way the adds work is if it says chevy a lot in the thread or the title of the thread the advertising program recognizes it and puts the add up. And this has been discussed way too many times. The forum moderators do not have control over the ads.

The site has no control over ads. They are listed by Google and it's based on key words found within the site.
