Default Renew faded trim without painting

Got this from a YouTube video. It works pretty damn well, IMHO!!! Idk why I never take any before pics, don't even have any after pics yet. Will take some tomorrow morning and post them. I just did my side view mirror housings, rear window trim, and bed rails. Searched and haven't seen anything on it on this forum, so I thought I needed to share. It's a mixture of 60% boiled linseed oil/ 40% laquer thinner. Mix, wipe on, wipe off and the results are worth mentioning. You might want to tape off painted areas, I just make sure I wipe off any that gets on the paint sooner than later. Pics will come in the morning

Drive down a gravel road and see if it collects road dust.

If not, it's a good idea. If it does, painting is the way to go.

in 3 or 4 months when it looks like before. You can paint it and be done.

I tried "Wipe New" a few years ago on my work truck and it still looks brand new. About $14.00 for enough to do a couple of trucks.

I took my faded plastic off and held it in front of the salamander for a few seconds and bam!

After, keep it moving to aviod warping I got a small amount I'll have to heat up and form back flat.
