Rebuilt entire F150 supercrew
I am in the process of rebuilding my 2001 F150 Supercrew XLT 2wd. I am in the finishing steps of putting it back together, and attempted to fire the engine last night. The solenoid on the starter was busted (got dropped and broke the battery feed terminal off). I tried to start it by jumping it, but it would not start. When I tried to start it, the theft light illuminates on the dash very rapidly. Is this because I jumped the starter, or is there another problem?

I do not know what the problem is with your truck not working, but I am sure somebody here will have some useful suggestions for you soon. We have a great bunch of members here with a lot of knowledge.
