Rear Window Trim Restoration
Hey Guys,
I got my truck re-painted and now the messy trim around the rear window sticks out like a sore thumb. Im not exactly sure what material it even is. The truck is an XLT and does not have the typical black plastic trim surround. It seems to be factory paint that faded or a lighter shade. Any ideas for restoring? I assume I can sand it down and spray it? If so, what color would you do? I was thinking a flat black, dark gray, or match the factory color.
FYI: the pic was taken before it was painted but the new paint is same color.

I used a satin black, which looks great. Either go that or semi-gloss, but not gloss black, it'd look terrible. I also tinted the 3rd brake light with VHT to match the refreshed trim, and all looks great.
