Default Help! Changing control arm bushings

Can anybody tell me how to change the lower control arm bushings I've got everything loose but I can't get the torsion bars out of the control arm any tricks to getting it out I've beat in it wit a sledge hammer sprayed t with rust penetrant and heated it up but it won't budge

How are you taking them out? They have to go from the rear towards the front to get them out. I used some map gas/torch to heat up the control arm and used an 8lb sledge.

I used a acetalene torch and a 10lb full handled sledge.. You have to drive them forward out of the control arm then take out the torsion bar cross member and then pull them out of from the rear of the control arm..
