Default Rear mounted winch

How do you guys have a winch mounted at the back of your f150's.

I know there's ways to do it with hitches, but I'd rather have a more permanent way (aka, theft deterrent).

Would mostly be used for towing inoperable vehicles onto a trailer.

I had a winch for pulling cars onto a trailer once, I just mounted it to the trailer, permanently, worked out very well.

Wish I could, its the easiest solution...but not an option. Trailers my father in laws, and were just not going down that road.

ah. So it's my trailer you aren't doing that Huh? Only thing I can think of is cut a hole in the bed and make a mount that connects it to the frame..

Yea, pretty much.

I'm sure I could Jimmy rig a way to attach it to the frame, but wasn't sure if there was a more tactful way to rig it out there

That's what I'm thinking lol.

I've seen someone actually route angle iron under their truck and just use a winch on the front of the truck. The angle iron guided to cable under the truck. Crazy, but it worked.

I would assume that if you removed your spare tire you'd have plenty of room for one....

Try searching "f150 rear winch bumper" Or something close to that. I know I have seen a rear winch bumper kit for older 150's before.
