My 2003 Supercrew 4x4 has a 3:73 open diff and the tag says 75W-90 I've only seen 75W-140 for the rear diff.. Which should I use?

Why does the tag say that? It should be 75w-140 and you to add a bottle of FM from ford.

Because ford changed the specs to 75-140 after the release of that model year.

I'm not sure when the service bulletin came out changing the specs for rear diff fluid. They did the same thing when they changed the motor oil to run from 5-30 to 5-20.
