Default Rear brake line

just today i was checking out my brakes, took 1 front tire and 1 back tire off, after wards lowered the truck, started it and pressed on the brake and all of a sudden brake fluid starts squirting out from the rear brake line. so i went out and bought a new one to replace it and i cant seem to figure out how to detach the old brake line (rear right side) from the brake caliper, where it attaches to a rubber tube. i don't know whether i have to buy a new piece or not but the brake line is not coming apart from the rubber tubing.
i have attached a pic of the piece that i can't get loose from the rubber tube. i have cut the broken brake line, so that its a little easier for me to manuver it. please let me know what i have to do to take it out.

Just match the new line to the old line and where the line ends up under your truck is were the junction is that you disconnect. Is the second picture the new line or the old one?

mines an 04 and it doesnt seem like there is a nut to hook the rubber portion to the steel looks like one piece but i got the rubber replacement but dunno how to get the old off the steel line, the replacement bolts to the frame and the steel line that goes to the junction on the differential which those have just a normal nut on them dont see anything in the steel line to connect to the rubber hose kinda lost??
