Default Rear axle seal replacement...

Did a search. No luck.

2001 F150 SC with 5.4 and 153k miles. 9.7 diff (?).

I pulled my rear rotors to be turned last weekend and noticed rear end dope had leaked past the left side axle seal.

Anybody do a rear axle seal replacement? Any tip or tricks to pull the axles? Should I replace the outer axle bearings as well?

I've pulled the axles in my old Mustang 8.8 rear end. Is it similar?

Thanks!

Default axle seals

I just had my axle and differential seals replaced at the dealership.
$250 for parts and $250 for labor.

There is a vibration on the drivers side, could that be the bearing? Or is it something else?
