I believe you'll want the larger booster as well. Rear discs have a MUCH larger booster vs drums.

What booster and master should be put on? One from our gen truck that had the rear discs? I want to do a rear end swap to one with rear discs also. What would I do about the whole ordeal with have 12mm bolts and 14mm bolts for the front and back studs?

Yea, a 99+ booster. Not sure if it's needed. Crazy might know. When discs on all 4 corners began in 99, -they were equipped with larger boosters. Quite a bit larger. Compare a 97/98 to a 99 + and you'll notice right off.

Personally my truck stops on a dime loaded..I wouldn't trade my drums for discs, - if that were the only reason for doing so.

I hate my rear drums. I will be going disc. You will also need 99+ booster, and a master. I personally like the feed back from the 7700's MC.. It has a smaller bore

What about brake lines and stuff like that? And what do you do about the difference between 12mm and 14mm studs?

Brakelines are the same size. My truck is 14mm. Originally it was 12mm, but with the front brake upgrade the rotors didnt quite fit correctly with the smaller lugs. SO i upgraded to 14mm hubs. The rear just drilled the correct size for 14mm studs.

Would my stock wheels fit the 14mm studs or no?

IDK. Check on the inside near the lug holes and see if its stamped 12mm or 14mm. Mine were stamped 14mm and have no issues with 14mm studs. I dont see there being a issue unless you have steel wheels.
