When mine started, it would come and go while driving. It almost sounded like a belt squealing.

OK, I tried the WD40 trick, and it didn't work. I can see where the seal goes now. Is it very hard to pull the axle to put one in? It looks like just 6 bolts and the axle nut to drop out.
