Raptor style LED grille lights-install pics
Really simple job, took only a few hours. Couldn't find the exact lights I was looking for, so went with some LED bolts, only 2 bucks each. If anyone knows anything better let me know. These work but they are more of a direct beam instead of a running light.
Wired into the park lamp circuit and made a seperate connector so its easier to tap into for any other running lights. Made some aluminum brackets and used 3m double sided tape to mount.
harness tied into park lamp
new POW sticker
originally had 5 but after we wired everything up one of the leds was bad, so took one out and moved them up in the grille and ran 4

If you cut the tip of the led's it will difuse the light.
Another way to do it is rough up the finish with some sandpaper.
Both should result in eliminating the projection effect of the led's and softer less direct light.

I used the actual Raptor lights. I use mine for emergency lights so i got the red lights for the rear of the raptor. I just cut the hole in my mirror cover and ran the wires to my grill lights so that when i turn my master switch on they come on with everything else. with them off they are not very noticable. sorry for the pictures, they came off my phone.
