i thought it could be simple ... to be able to turn off and on the solenoids... and see how the fluids behave.. on the way out ... what code would i read if this unit was bad.?? just to be sure ..
sincerely thank you for your time

I cant tell you what code. You would have a abs light if it was not functioning correctly.

It has a solenoid and it's a common failure. l believe the anti-lock is vacuum operated. Kelsey Hayes made the modules. NHTSA Reference #607072 is for the light being on but no code to go with it. The problem on my truck turned out to be the speed sensor.

Code 8 signifies a failed dump valve solenoid. Time for a new RABS units.

just an update i replaced the RABS valve twice .. bought 2 from a wreck yard..yes i know .. they might be bad .. and the light stayed ONN.. finally i got the electronic control unit .. and the light is dead ... so i think its all good .. was not the valve .. i do not have a special device to test them .. but seems that they are bullet proof basic solenoids .. the only pin i can not test on the valve was the rest wire .. has no resistance ... as if its not connected internally .. for the 3 RABS valves i had

again i was getting code 8
