Putting a Sunroof on a 98 f150

Do it yourself, buy one off the interweb, place it on your roof, trace it out. Get the ole sawzall out. Go at it hard, get some silicone out, seal it up so she don't leak and you're done. Simple as that.
They're definitely not something that always leaks, and always has problems with, and are awful to repair when you get fed up with it. And something that most shops won't even try because of the problems with them.

While I love sunroofs, you could not pay me to install an aftermarket one. Nothing but problems.
Most of them end up with a ton of silicone on them to keep them from leaking and never get opened.
I had a friend that had one on a mid 80's Mustang that after 4 years of fighting with a leaking aftermarket roof welded a panel in place of it. That finally kept it from leaking.
