that is totally beyond me and the scheme of my knowledge, but you did a nice job....I have one rocker panel in the front, driver's side that looks about like yours...how much do you think I should pay to have it fixed? - Thanks - Robin

I think THIS is the "million dollar Question" for this entire thread Robin.
If you have the dealership fix it, it could cost thousands, I bet. If you have your "buddy over by the tracks there", it could cost a few hundred bucks for parts and a sixpack or two (or three). I have seen quotes here that give that same range, ie, $500-600 to $1700. There are SO MANY variables, no one can really give you an accurate estimate until they see your truck.
Good luck!

OK took it to the body repair shop and the guy quoted me a price of $800 per side. $1000 per side if they paint them.

Maaco wanted $2000-2200 for mine. I found a local guy that did it for $1700. Maybe I'll post pictures later when I can get to a computer. I would venture to say that mine were probably worse than yours, but there are other variables to consider such as cab size.

I had my rockers replaced and everything below the beltline repainted, but that little plug on the back, passenger side of the bed behind the bumper is missing. Where can I get a new one?

Default A slight problem....

If you have been following this thread, you know I did my rockers last year.
Now I have a problem,as it looks like I have some rust "bleed thru" where my welds were located.
What did I do wrong?
What can I do to repair these spots?
I do NOT want to have to do this whole repair again for a while....

I'm not a body man and have no idea on the rust bleed through. A friend of mine at work who builds muscle cars says he sees the same problem. I'm thinking about trying the body panel epoxy to assemble mine when I do my driver side rocker.
