97 F-150 Rust
I have a F150 Supercab that has some rust just behind the drivers door.I had it repaired less than a year ago for the rust on both sides and the drivers side has come back. I was told that there is a rust reversal on the market that I could use to spray on the rust and later have it painted.Does anyone know if this is true and what kind of rust reversal spray can I use? It's a very small spot but I want to get this before it get any worse.

Awesome repair. I like how you don't get all big about it. I am the same way myself. This took ***** to do and you did it! My Rockers are in good shape, thank God.

I have the panels now. Got them from Erie Trading - on sale back in January. They were over $325.00 a piece locally. I got both of them for $275.00 - incld shipping and taxes to Southern Ontario. To my door in 3 days.
Got the runners off and they're staying off. I like the look better.
Picked up a Lincoln Migpack 10 (more than paid for itself with the money I'll save) and am going to start this project once the weather is warm enough for the bondo.
Thanks for the detailed description and pics. Your post has already helped me visualize what I have to do.
Cheers!

What a pain in the ***!
Well i started on my Rockers, what a holy mess there's nothing to work with for metal left over after the rust demon got to it. when i finally got under the truck i also noticed that the cab supports are pretty much gone on the drivers side. So that added to my headache. I did manage to get the passenger side rocker attached, but up here in the wonderful world of northern maine the weather is still ****ty so i have to hold off on finishing, due to the fact i have to do this in my Dirt/mud driveway. I have some pic's but...... I'm going to wait until i am totally done before i post them. If it comes out good enough that is,LOL! I do have a question, there's a rear cab support that is riveted onto the frame and i can not find it anywhere on the net now, I did have one site that showed pictures of the frame and all the cross members and supports but my computer got fried and i lost the site. If anyone knows of a site that shows these things would you please PM me or reply in a post here. Thanks, Lance

ditto that. I have the same 2001 Screw Lariot. The panels are shot. As well as the angle brace under the front door. Any ideas for replacing that?

Taking the doors on and off was the worst part. The rest went pretty well. The other side should go a lot faster

Nice job.
It's not as hard of a job as I though it would be. Once you start cutting, the initial fear of cutting away the side of your truck goes away. The second side will be much faster because of that.
I also found a place locally that sprayed the inside of mine with undercoating after they were finished. Cost $35 to have both sides done.
