Default Power steering whine
The one thing about this truck that has always greatly annoyed me is the whiney power steering. Last year I replaced the fluid with no change at all. There were no leaks either.

I just replaced the pump today and there's no ****ing change. What's gives?

Prolly in the gear box... Tried burping it?

I couldn't find anything on that anywhere. Where is the valve?

It's a Ford thing. My '88 Ranger did it, my buddy's then-new '08 Ranger did it, My dad's old Taurus did it, and my coworkers SVT Focus did it.
