As stated get rid of all that Ugly chrome
Body Color the grille and black out the center
Body Color The valance between the grille and bumper
Any rims other than those stockers will give it a way better look and an awesome face lift.
Tint the windows
Upgrade the mirrors to the folding style
Aftermarket black lights and LED Corners
I know you stated off roading, but i would lower that thing to the ground.

There are all kinds of graphics and stripes you can use to make a plain white truck look a whole lot nicer. I went with flat black stripes on mine, but red or another color could look pretty cool, too.

Like the guys above said, rims are probably one of the biggest changes you can make to your truck, but they are also the single most expensive appearance mod you can make. The graphics above cost me about $175 total, for the Camaro-style top stripes and the rocker stripes. I installed them myself, which is pretty easy and there are plenty of how-to videos on YouTube.
