Default plugs changed and now doesn't idle

My brother has a 150 with a 4.6 that he recently changed the pluges and plug wires in. The truck will idle in gear and drives fine until it's warm then it will not idle in gear. It drives fine but when you let off the gas it just dies. It also doesn't trip the check engine light. Any ideas as to what would cause this?

Thanks
Tim

I have the same trouble, although mine started a little different. i had a very rough idle and the CEL came on. I had a mis in #5. Replaced only the #5 plug and wire. Ran good for 2 weeks. Then I noticed my battery was getting weak. (turned over slow). Next morning just turn over slow then clicked. I replaced by battery. The first drive i took with it, it died at stop sign. Started good and was able to keep driving. Now every time i come to a stop the idle drops way low and then stalls. Does anyone know if replacing the battery, in some way, has messed up the idle speed. I get no CEL and truck runs great while cruising.

stock motors will not run right with very expensive spark plugs just try some ngk's or oem replacements and it should run fine
