Default Plug / Coil-on-plug question...brand preference?

I have an '03 Screw w/ 5.4l at 108k miles. Only recently did it start missing every once in a blue moon just for brief moments. It also is occasionally harder to start...cranks but won't fire for a few seconds. I figure I'm just gonna go ahead and do the plugs & COPs for good measure and see what happens.

Are there any good brands to go with or types of plugs, or should I stick with OEM everything? Are the ACCEL COPs any good? Any particular type of plug better than another?

Any help appreciated...Thanks in advance...

I have been wondering the same thing my self. I did find a magazine article about the ACCEL COP's. They said in a basicly stock 06 f150, only mod was exhaust, that it ran somthing like a 17.02 second 1/4 at 79.9 MPH and then they replaced the stock COP's with ACCEL COP's and ran a 16.97 second 1/4 at 80.1 MPH. Heres the link to the article. I think I'm going to go with the ACCEL's on my 01 screw.
