Ok - its starting to sound more like an internal problem- at this point i would say take it to a transmission specialist- they should have the correct diagnostic tools to pin point your problem- it may be that something loosened up or a passage plugged up, or a valve not behaving correctly(?)- in my opinion, it would be time/$ well spent to let a specialist look it over- you may opt to drop the pan and have a look, there may be something obvious, if not, your still better off taking it to a trans. specialty shop. I wish i could be more specific, i hope we narrowed it down some- keep us in the loop.

Is there any fuses or relays that could be the problem

I dont believe so- it sounds like there is a problem in the 2nd gear circuit . It could be an actuator not releasing or a valve not sending oil through the passages ( or blocked passage) or a clutch band not working correctly. From what little we have discussed, it sounds like when the trans shifts into 2nd, that something inside is not allowing 1st to disengage and the trans is working against itself. This is strictly a guess, without the flow charts and the diagnostic tools its about all i can offer from here . If it was my truck, it would be at this point i would be looking for professional help.

First question ought to be.......

Do you have a warranty from JU?

Most give something. Anywhere from 3-12 mo .

Dont let anybody touch it if you do. Talk to them first.

Your differential is not limited slip? Turning the wheel/axle will not rotate the driveshaft because the other wheel/axle is turning in the opposite direction. Shift it to Neutral and try if you can push the vehicle.
