it's nice to see a lifted flareside on here. nice balance of lift and tire size. personally i'd go with the 35's but still a nice truck.

my buddy up here has an 01 supercab flareside 4x2 with 4.6. they are nice looking trucks. his previos one was a 92 flareside reg cab, also 4x2 5.0. i didn't notice the rear sag until you mentioned it. i did notice the big gap in the front wheelwell and that's why i suggested the 35's

yeah 35s will come after the holidays. yeah, Im new to the 150s so im still learning, I had a ranger before I got this, its a whole new animal. Mine has the 5.4 in it with 90000 miles. i was a little nervous about the mileage, but Ive heard a lot of good things about the triton v8. Im hopin for the best, im the typical guy that babies his truck, and the guy before me took amazing care of it, so i expect it to look and run good for a long time.

i also had a ranger (2). both 93's one supercab and one splash reg cab. both 4x4 and 4.0 v6 and 5 speeds. great little trucks. 90000 miles, it's just gettin broke in the v8's are tough.one truck where i work is a 99 150 4.6 4x2 5 speed and it's got 258000 km (159960 miles ) on it. no major problems with the engine. another truck we have is a 03 f250 4x4 with the 5.4 and it's got 212000 km (131440 miles) on it with no engine problems. we service our gas engines every 150 hours, regardless of mileage.

05 super: yeah my ranger was a 2002 edge with the 4.o with a 5 speed, and I had a 98 mazda B4000 which was basically the same thing, except it was an auto, I did a lot of wheeling in those little trucks, never got stuck, but I did a lot of toyota and jeep rescuing. But as for the 150,s Ive heard a lot of good things about the engines, but ive been reading a lot on the forum and I see a lot of problems with the 4 wheel drive, hub issues and such, is that pretty common, or just a lot of coincidence?

02f-1504x4: Im running a 6 inch fabtech long arm susp. lift with 33 inch pro comp all terrains, which will soon be swapped for 35 inch toyo open countrys. does any body have any use for 33s with rim size 17? brand new when I got the truck, still had the little rubber hairs.

i can't speak for everyone else, but the only hub trouble was on my 89 150. swapped the auto hubs to manual and all good. i went through 2 transfer cases on my old 90 f250, but i think the front locker i installed did them in for me. never went through an engine/ tranny or diff. alot of my luck could stem from the fact i usually keep my vehicles from 2.5-5 years then get a different one. all of my previous trucks were used when aquired with the exception of my 05. i plan on keeping it until paid for.
