Default mystery plug, any ideas?

Hey fellow 10gens, I was under my truck today wiring up some rock lights and I noticed this plug the was attached to the frame via Christmas tree clip. It has two orange wires and is on the drivers side and shares a wire loom with driver side fog light. Doesn't plug into anything so I'm curious. 2003 xlt supercrew 4X4

It would be the first time for me seeing a block heater plug like that... But then again, I dont see them often. Never really need them down here in good ol' S. Carolina.

I remember reading a while back that the crash sensors in these trucks is built into the seat belt? I may be wrong so not too positive on that. As long as its no airbag sensor I'm fine lol

DRL plug maybe? My truck is Canadian and had a DRL "module" (resistor) behind the drivers side headlight. Your plug is one similar to the one that I unplugged when I got my truck.

That makes sense. Its difficult to trace the wires since they run in a very hard to reach place under air filter and cruise control. I can't find anything online so this weekend I'll use a volt meter to try and test what its connected too

Whatever it is, its broken. The actual plug is only half the piece, the other half is whatever is missing. How about ambient temp sensor?
