Default Pi head swap

OKay guys I've been doing research and I'm getting new heads done for free labor so I'd like some insight on the pi head swap. I have a 97 f150 with the 4.6l v8. From my understanding I will need simply refurbished pi heads. What year am I looking for? I will need the stock intake from a 4.6 that had pi heads too if I'm correct, I'd also like to put in mild cams, any suggestions? Also springs. Any helps will be appreciated! Thanks

..And by research he means, someone mentioned it in another post and he ran right to the New Thread button.

It's funny how obvious these types of threads are.

Haha, You can't even change your spark plugs and you expect everyone else to give you all the answers because you don't know how to use your own brain.

I'd bet money that I've built more modulars than you've even seen. You're a fool.

Default Pi head swap

What they are all worked up about is that there are two threads in the first two pages on here they have both been actively advising in.

They know a lot more than I do but you would need the heads and intake. 5.4 or 4.6 for the heads but 4.6 intake. Then get a tune to account for the higher compression numbers and flow of the pi heads.

I hear Torquer cams do well in these engines for more low end umf but springs are beyond me.

I think thats it in a nutshell.

The reason you seem to get hostile responses from the like of the those who know, is completely due to the lack of your inability to use the search function. I have covered this numerous times.
