PH8A usable on a 99 4.6 w/remote filter?
I'm curious if I can use this trick that I have used on 4.0l Jeeps for years to increase the oil capacity a bit. Do the thread and the gasket match up? Thanks.

Well, I just checked it out for myself and the answer is...NO! The filter on the 4.6 has a larger thread than the PH8A type
Anyone know of a larger than stock filter that would fit the bill?
