True, I made a few alterations, but they do!
cool, how did you do it? if I am thinking correctly, after reading back through the posts, I can run a wire from mt auto lamp wire to one of the +12 wires at the relay for unlock and the headlights should come on at unlock, but will they go off at lock?

I did mine different. Removed the relay for the HL flash and used the hot wire from that for the power. Used two of the factory STDP relays with the first being powered by the dome lights, and the second being powered by the radio. The first relay sends power when closed, the 2nd when open. I ran a wire to the yellow wire and brown wire behind the headlight switch and a wire to the in cab reverse wire. Add in a couple of diodes on both wires, and bam! It was done.they only turn on when the dome lights are on AND no power is sent to the radio. So, they only turn on when the truck is off, and not when it's running.

that sounds a bit confusing, I'm more of a visual person I guess... maybe I'll read it over and over and I'll get it... haha...

Well, pulled the relay today getting ready to install my retrofits and it works, but killed my auto headlights?
That won't do.
So those that have done this with auto headlights do your auto lights still work? My running lights still come on, just no headlights. Headlights work just fine in manual mode.

Simple fix. Either cut the terminal off the relay and reinstall or take it out and piggy back it.

So which terminal?
Green/yellow threshold/remote lead on the headlight relay?

I don't have DRL's. Take a pic of the wires on the back and I will tell ya, mine may be different.

Not DRL, auto headlights. My relay box looks the same as your pic.

Drl's are auto's. I use the terms interchangeably.
The green wire activates the relay. So that should be it.
