I wish I knew half as much as you do with electricity.

I'm what they call, electrically-retarded. Nice write up!

This is quite impressive. Pulled up in my driveway, and didnt want them to flash. Pulled the cove and relay and now no more HL flash! You sir, are epic. I do want to as you though. You have any idea what the empty relay location is for? The one that was missing a relay in the beginning. Mine was missing it too, but was mounted a little different and had a piece of electrical tape holding down the cover...

Mine also had the tape. Fairly certain that relay and all the wiring is for lights and would be safe to assume the empty location is for day time running lamps.

You wouldn't want them anyhow, the auto lamps on these trucks blow fuses like crazy for some reason, I've heard some say its a switch, some say its a relay. But idk it always blows the fuse for them and the overdrive cause its the same one.

I know it would take a good bit to get auto lamps. The sensor location, and some extra wiring... And from what I'm told, it aint worth it. It would be nice though. Hearing this from you tells me that you still have a good bit of trouble from the system... And i'm also guessing there has been no official and true fix for the problem...
