Overhead compass/temp display swap
I have a 99 F-150 XLT ext cab. I bought an overhead time/temp/compass display from an 00 and am looking to swap it into my truck. I have the complete wiring harness and sensors. Where do all the sensors go for the compass and temp? Also is this a plug and play? Or will I need to splice some wires. Will it work at all? Has anyone done this? Any help or tips would be great, thanks.

What did you buy it off of?
Because lariats only have compass, and thats a pos that dont work well. Theres cold solder joints and an electronic part falls off.
The external temp is on the auto AC controls on lariat. So not on ovhd. Time on radio, not on ovhd.
Even though it looks lke aa bunch of stuff on. Screen.....theres nothing.
Its basically garbage.
Some expeditions had a lot more functionality to the display.
