Question Oscillating RPM

My '01 F150 is giving me trouble. The idle speed on start is around 2k and does not drop to acceptable level unless the clutch in fully depressed. When put in gear and the clutch is released it revs up again. I think it might be in the electric choke but would like to get some other thoughts. Thanks in advance.

These aren't carbureted, so no choke. Not sure if oscillating is the right word but I think I can direct you.

Check the entire PCV assembly for leaks causing a rolling and high idle.

Also look into cleaning the MAF sensor.
