It'll take about 8-10 hours. You can do it yourself a few pieces of 2x4's, a floor jack, and the scissor jack. Instructions suck, but you should be able to do it yourself just by looking. I have plenty of pictures, and meant to do a write up on how to do it with step-by-step pictures, but just haven't gotten to it, and probably won't anymore.

if you have never done something like this before you wont get it done in 6-8 hours the best thing to do is designate a weekend to do it. Take your time put all the parts you take off your truck in bags and label them and just take your time so your not fumbleing through things and looking for stuff i took my time and i didnt get frustrated or nothign cause when i went to get something there it was in one of the bags just my opion

me and 2 of my buddies did a body lift on his 02 ranger about a month ago. it took around 7 hrs and a few busted knuckles haha and mawk is right the instructions suck. just make sure to be heavy with PB blaster or something like that because broken body bolts r not fun.

Wash the undercarriage multiple times.
I actually run stock tires with my 3" bl, unless I know I'm going somewhere, then I throw on the MTR's, they're a lot cheaper to replace. I've had people tell me they like the way my truck sits, that it sits just right not too tall, not too low. But other people tell me that i need to keep my 35's on there all the time. It's all on preference, really.
