Has anyone been able to install light bars in the fog light openings on the 97 I've seen them on the newer bumpers with 6inch for lights buts never on the 12in fog lights. Please help

1. Not DOT approved.

2. They'll glare like crazy if you use them in oncoming traffic.

3. Light bars make chitty fog lights.

4. Rigid make 100% legal, DOT-approved duals that provide a spectacular fog-specific beam pattern that won't blind everyone.

They will fit nicely, and likely provide more actual lumens than the cheap chinglish fleabay no-name fake-Cree emitter POS bars that flood the market.

Here is Browning's write up for the 6 inch fogs. Go off of that.

Again floods are indiscriminate blobs of light scattered everywhere - and hence entirely unsuited on occupied roads with oncoming traffic. If you switch 'em off, fine. But a lot of folks don't.

True fog beam patterns don't have that concern. Go find McDavis's beam shots to see what i'm referring to.

Can you take a picture of your bracket for your fog lights?
