Default Opening on the front bumper on 97-02 F150

Talking about the Hole in the center of the front bumper, What is it for? I'm guessing nothing I don't see anything in there. I was thinking of putting my 20" LED bar in there & moving the license plate to the grill.

Awesome truck....

People put light bars in there all the time, you'll be fine.

On the superduties there are little fog lights on either side of the license plates, I just assume the F-150's didn't come like that. IDK if the superduties came stock like that but my grandpas has them and I couldn't imagine him putting them in lol.

This isn't his truck but just to give you an idea of what I am talking about.

So it is just an aluminum bar that can be bolted in there? Looks like a easy install. Is the hole for the bar already pre-drilled?? Thanks for the post!!

yeah u can use steal I just didn't want it to rust, you can do it with the bumper on but dive it's only 4 bolts to drop the bumper I did it makes it a little easier but you don't have to
