oil temp gauge

Where do you install the sending unit for an aftermarket gauge for oil temp. I have seen some adapters for the oil filter but I just don't know. Thanks

Take your reading at the pressure port as does Ford, remove the sender and install new. Put in a tee fitting if want both systems operational. You will find the oil sender next to the oil filter.
