Just bought a 99 lariet.Clean and sweet,just 25000 miles.Today my odometer went out,then came back.1)Any idea what may be the problem?also ,2)could it just be the bulb,or something loose.3)Would the odometer continue working if the lite went out.Im not a dumbutt when it comes to vehicles(usually)this truck was bought at a local Ford dealer.My concerns are that the odometer might work intermittantly and perhaps ADVERTISED mileage was incorrect.Truck otherwise looks new.Appreciate any info you can give.

it's a broken soldier joint and the back of the read out...there are a few other posts even a how too on it. easy fix...took about 35 min from start to finish.
