How can I tell if it has the auto lamp feature ?

My head light switch has the dial with off parking head lights pull for fogs. It also has 2 wheels to the right of that one for dimming and the second one I don't remember.

I was thinking last night to check my parking lights and see what kind of bulbs are in there and also check the flasher 2 but it flashes with the lights off.

Also the relay that buzzed that I did replace I thought was the flasher but that was for the blower motor

I think the blower issue is fixed

I think the blower issue was a separate is from the lights

The 2nd dial is for your headlights. You click it past a certain point and it turns on auto lights. When your headlights turn on it has a little light that glows orange underneath the dial.

Okay so I do have that then. What are the typical issues associated with having that ?

Also I remembered I jumped power to wires on the headlight switch plugs

The wire that re-creaters the problem is the blue with the red strip. As soon. As that one has power my indicators come on and dash lights idk of that helps to narrow it down.

Does any one have a wiring diagram they can send me with the dash illumination flasher and light wiring. I have it narrowed down to that blue /red stripe wire.

The only diagram I have is the one that showed the entire interior of the truck and is extremely vauge

Did you ever get this fixed? I'm curious about this. You can get a new headlamp switch, or one out of a junkyard and see if the problem repeats.
