so here it is, i hit a pot hole one day in january and my battery light came on, stayed on for a bit with the battery charging at 18 volts anythime the rpms got over 1000. did not happen again until last week sometime, changed the voltage regulator like the haynes manual ssaid, everything was good for a week. driving yaesterday and this happened again. parked the truck for the day, went out to start it today and nothing at all. the truck is a 97 4.6 any ideas what is causing this>??????????
