noob question,audio related
I just noticed my factory radio/casette has a cd button on it,but no slot for a cd.Is it prewired for a cd changer?....if so where would it be located ?I cant find the changer,so im looking for the plug.Its a 2001 supercrew,also looking to buy one,thanks.

My dad had an 01 with a factory CD changer, it's probably just an available option and yours was never ordered with the CD Changer, Ford just used the same factory head unit. Pretty sure the CD Changer would be in the console between the front seats. (captain's chairs)

^^^ Yes, open your center console and remove the black plastic tray, (it's removalable for cleaning, as is the cop holders. Underneath that tray you may find a CD changer! Check it out!
