Default No power, Clicking coming from fuse panel

I am completely stumped!!! i need to just admit that i am a carpenter and NOT a mechanic!!!! I pulled my battery cables to clean my terminals the other day and now I get NO power at all!!! I replaced the negative cable because it was cracked. I get absolutely no power when i try to turn it over, and there is a clicking/buzzing sound coming from my fuse compartment. It seems to be the #2 fuse which i believe is my "instrument cluster" The truck starts just fine if i jump it from someone elses car though!!!! Can anybody help me out on this one??????

I'm afraid you'll have to inspect your battery connections again. BTW how old is your battery?
