Had to floor my truck today and it was in over drive and it shifted to probably 3rd and revved up to about 3,000 RPM And I was going probably 45 to 50MPH just didn't have any get up and go. It's a 03 5.4 also it slowly climbed to 3,000 RPMS and I had it to the floor for probably 10 seconds

Doesn't it have like 270k miles on it? She's getting tired.

Without hooking up a scanner, I wouldn't waste money throwing parts at it.

248k actually haha and it had a misfire 2-4 times 3 months ago. Then again our dad had it and hit 3,500 rpm getting up to speed when he didn't have too......

honestly look at it this way

truck is 15 years old, well over 200k miles, pretty bad rust

do you really want to keep sinking money into it?
