Default No horn or cruise control

Long story short my buddy punched my steering wheel. This caused the horn to randomly go off for about a week. Then finally quit working all together. Along with this went the cruise control. I was thinking broken clock spring so my question is, will the horn still work when locking the car if the clock spring is broken? because mine does not.

I would take the airbag off first and do a visual inspection of the clock spring and wiring. Clock spring is a pretty good bet, without it your horn has no power.

After that, go punch your buddy in his clock spring.

When checking the clock spring I am just looking for continuity between the two ends correct?

Yes. You need to make sure that all airbags are disconnected so you don't accidently set one off.

Would my airbag light be on if my clock spring is bad?

Trying to upload photo but it keeps failing. Does anyone know which color wires or connectors would be the ones to test?

I've tested all wires running through clock spring and all have continuity to the dash. So that's means it not my clock spring

Default quuck fix

You have to replace your cruise control box and then your horn will work if your isn't bad and if your horn is bad you have to replace the horn! Cheap fix just go to O'Reillys or auto zone. I had to do it with my 2001
