No heat, bad gas mileage rough Idle
Could all these causes be one culprit?
The truck is a 2000 F150 V6 extended cab.
The radiator fluid is topped off, the heater core hoses do not get hot. I checked between the battery and firewall for broken or loose vacuum lines but found none. And there is a fairly new thermostat in the truck.
The idle jumps from 500-1500. And there is not one bit of heat coming through the vents. The check engine light is on but have not yet went to autozone to hook up the computer to it yet. Is there anything i could start checking as its the weekend and have time to do so?
Thanks alot!!

Engine light is off now. Just flushed out the system and flushed out the heater core seperately. Idle is good and a problem we noticed was the A/C clutch is spinning full time and saw condensation on the hose.
When standing at the front bumper the Right heater core hose gets kind of hot but the Left one stays pretty cold. Any ideas?
