I applaud you for being different Bruno. Bet you win the award for the most useless mod to stock wheels I have ever seen. Hopefully you have no issues form having a faux rock rings welded on.

haters gonna hate haha. Definitely not my taste either, but it's at least something different. Lets see them with some tires mounted already.

Obviously people have strong opinions about the wheels, which is cool i guess, It makes for an interesting conversation.

I have always valued your opinion so much but not sure not sure of your use of the "faux" word. If your implying the aforementioned rock rings are "fake" I would refer you to OMF Beadlocks who make said rock rings. I hope the sarcasm is evident but thanks for your concern on this matter.

All the rest of my comments are issues that can arise from those rims, again, nothing abut a like or dislike.

As for my "Pep Boys" headlights, about $300 total, and actually serve a useful purpose, unlike some stupid fake rock rings stuck on some cheap OEM rims that look like crap and have no reason for being there.

See the difference between my first post and this one? This post is a negative and degrading post.

Now I don't really mean it (I don't care for the look, but it is not my truck) so don't take the above seriously.
Have you mounted tires to them yet? What type and size tire you planning on? Hopefully it works out for you and if you like it that is what matters. Heck, they may look really nice once mounted and installed.

Heck, I remember your thread a while back showing off your truck, it really is a clean looking truck.
Your right!! Maybe I took your comment completely wrong. When you stated "Hope they didn't cost too much" you were just looking out for my financial wellbeing. Your use of the word "makeshift".......well don't really know what you meant there but I will assume you meant something good by it. I do apologize for my PepBoys comment degrading your $300 headlights and thinking your an idiot for spending that kind of money and time on a beat on POS. ( See I can do it too.....JUST JOKING!!!!!!) Just like my wheels for you your headlights are not the route I would go but I would never seriously make negative comments about them because if you like them that is all that matters. Peace Ford Brother!!

It's all good.

So what tires are you planning on and are they on yet?
I really am wondering if you will be able to mount/dismount them with those rings in place.

Tires will be what Im running now Toyo Open Country ATII 285/75-17. Don't really know why you think there would be an issue mounting. The rock ring sits inside the lip of the wheel and adds nothing to the size or any measurements of the wheel.

He used faux because those rings don't actually do anything to keep the tire seated on the wheel in low pressure situations, which is what real beadlocks do.
