Damn that's what I was afraid of.
I'm going to get a better picture of the item number so you can judge before I send them back.
Also the PCV valve is a motorcraft EV-98, I was told I needed this. It was cheap so either way i'm ok with it but I figured inquire from you knowledgeable old timers.
Thanks a lot.

Yeah thats the same pcv valve used on the lightnings you need it in a boosted application. See if you can get a link to the injectors. I wouldnt be to worried as 42lb +/-10% wont hurt you at you power goals. I'm just one of those that would everything to be as close as possible. Helps prevent on cylinder form being overly rich and another from being overly lean. I have USCAR Flex Fuel injector @ 36lbs N/A and they are a matched set with a difference of 2.1% from highest to lowest.

It's very clear now that I read the auction. I searched lightning 42lb injectors and didn't do a thorough scan of the ad.

Hopefully the link worked.

Good and bad news. It's a high option XLT w/4WD but came with a non fog light lower valence. The headlight switch is equipped with the pull-out foglight switch. This leads me to believe the truck was in a wreck prior to me owning it.
Supposedly it's an OEM ford part...it was a pain in the ***** to get it to fit....
Looks pretty decent. Matches the lightning style headlights.
I get compliments up the ying-yang. No one believes me it's a 1999.
Also since I've got everyone's attention.
Replaced my non-fog light valence with a factory fog-light valence. I think it looks good with stock-looking (clear lensed foglights).
Sorry for going off-topic.

I could swear that the individual who was doing custom tunes for the edge (and others) is no longer doing it....He is only doing gryphon (or whatever) tunes
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just a quick update
Looks alright.
Got the Truck back today. Uhh needless to say the supercharger is super loud. I was told by the previous owner that it was sent back to vortech and upgraded to Si Trim (which I thought had a significantly quieter whine). Is that BS?
Video of it idling
Is it normal to be that loud?
It quiets down a tad when I accelerate and am driving around at highway speed. But seriously it's almost loud enough where I regret installing it.
I'm wondering if there is a way to quiet it down. I love a loud exhaust but this high pitch almost drilling sound isn't appealing to me. Don't get me wrong I've been in and owned supercharged vehicles but never this loud.
The Shop that installed it recently moved to a newer larger location so they are installing the dyno as we speak so they weren't able to do a dyno tune. They had to drive around and data-log and go from there. The drivability is fine. It is definitely faster but it comes on late in the RPM band (which was expected with a centrifugal).
In a couple weeks im heading back to get a full dyno tune (for free) and they are going to weld in a better muffler. I currently have a Gibson cat back and it is way to quiet (especially now that the superchager is installed) . So I am taking some recommendations as far as mufflers goes. I don't need race volume but im used to series 40 flowmaster level volume so I'm ok with that.
Sorry for taking so long to update this post, I'll keep updating it as we go and I'll post the dyno graph and video when It happens.

I picked up the kit from an individual on another F150 enthusiast site for $1100. Not a bad price at all!
My F150 is a basically stock 1999 4x4 F150 with the 5.4. The only mods I have are cat-back system, and a KN CAI. Everything else performance wise is 100% stock. That's fine, many of us have/had boost stock N/A 5.4L
I'll likely have it installed professionally by the local shop just to make sure it gets done right, but I have to pick up a few items first.
I'll need/want a A-pillar gauge setup. Any particular brand? I'd assume the gauges themselves are the more important factor there. Which gauges? I'd assume Boost would be the obvious choice but what else. Autometer makes the best fitting pillar pod for your truck. As for gauges Autometer is my go to guys for gauges. As for which ones to go with, to be completely honest boost isn't really needed. I would pick Fuel Pressure(Electric), A/F(Innovate makes some of the best) and a Aeroforce OBD2 gauge.
Need an upgraded fuel pump definitely, but are the factory fuel injectors up to the task assuming I run a low level of boost? Walbro 255lph pump will provide enough fuel to make more power than the N/A can handle. OEM Green 42# injectors out of a Lightning or Harley will be more than enough. Your factory Yellow injectors are 19#
I'm going to have the mustang shop I'm brining it to do the custom tune but does that mean I'll have to purchase an aftermarket tuner in order for them to store the tune? Only reference I have for this is my Mustang which had custom dyno-tunes written for it and stored on my SCT Tuner. I assume this would be similar? You will need a SCT XCal 2, 3, 4, or Livewire with a custom tune. You also need to understand that although someone may be a good Mustang tuner a truck is a lot different and requires things to be set differently. If you are fine with the local shop doing the tune then that's fine, if not I would contact JJ @ Woodbine MotorSports!
Is there anything else I'm missing? At some point I'll up the boost but for now it will remain near stock. What do you consider to be near stock? 8PSI is really safe on a N/A motor. I ran 12PSI on mine with no issues for 20K miles. I need push it to hard at the track and also had a injector fail that caused #2 piston to melt. Keep IATs low and your tranny clean and cool and you will be able to enjoy your added power for many miles.
Ill also say this, ITS ALL IN THE TUNE. Make sure your tuner knows wtf he is doing and that most Mustang tuners aren't truck tuners.
