Default New truck progress thread

After driving a GMC for a while I'm back in a Ford, I got a 2003 scab Lariat FX4 with the 5.4, pretty much the same as my last truck. Since I got it a month or so ago I've added husky liners, removed the side molding, done the gotts mod, cut off the muffler and dumped the exhaust out before the leaf spring mount, added a truxedo cover, and installed my f150 forum sticker.

Plans in the near future include lightning heads, tinting tails and painting the grille black(as soon as it warms up a little or I find a heated garage), and changing my rear dif fluid.
Also I'm going to paint part of my rims, throw on 285 or 315 treadwrights, tint windows, and a new head unit.

Painted my grilled yesterday, it looks pretty good from 5 feet away but up close there are a couple spots I will have to fix. Really makes a difference though glad I did it

I'd get some legit black tail lights. They arnt to expensive and you'll avoid cop issues these are the ones I've had on my trucks. Truck looks great btw! Lariat fx4 is the best you can get.

baked them in the oven at 220 degrees for 15 min and then took a small flat head to pry the lens off and taped off all reflective pieces and sprayed them black with some krylon paint
