Default New Transmission What to get?

I just blew my transmission... ready for a new one.
What should I do?
Background
1997 F150 Lariat
3 inch lift, K&N Filter, EDGE Program Controller, Aftermarket Header (forgot the brand), Flowmaster catback exhaust and muffler.
Rebuilt the transmission at 90,000 miles, put in a new Jasper Engine 4.8 litre at 170,000
Currently 230,000

The engine still has 40,000 mile warranty and runs great.
I estimate I get another 30 horsepower over the original engine.
Want to do something BIG with it (like supercharger or turbos) but worried about blowing the engine.
Runs OK but loses power when throttle is wide open (some people has said needs a new Mass Air Sensor). Not real strong on the high end. It throws some other codes that are annoying, but overall.. engine runs good.

What should I do with this truck? Rebuild the Transmission? or replace with a Re-built transmission?
Are there any high performance transmission's out there?
Should I Turbo Charge or just get the computer tuned up?
Budget $5,000 with some wiggle room.
What to do?

If it were mine, I'd have my Buddy build it. But I agree with jprevat, Monster transmissions have a great reputation. I was just noticing when I looked this link up that they have a 3 year warranty for free (normally $299) right now.

Holy ****, am I reading that right? sale price of $1500? Damn, I would easily pay that! Most people pay $2000-$2500 for rebuilt trannys with stock internals.

I ordered a tranny from monster for my 2005 King Ranch back in December. I'm still waiting for it. They said it would take 4 weeks, and so far it's been 5. I think the long lead time is due to the holiday season. I've spoken to them a few times, and they are always willing to help. Right now, they're getting it ready to ship. I'll update as soon as I get it put in and let you know how it goes.

Received my transmission (4R75E) from Monster this week and had it installed. So far so good! The packaging was very good and the transmission looked awesome. Shifting is smooth, crisp, and slightly more authoritative than stock. Shifts are more pronounced, but quicker than before. The truck drives like new with this baby installed.

The downside here is that Monster delivered the transmission about 2 1/2 weeks late. They quoted me a 4 week lead time, but it took 6 1/2 weeks. In all fairness, I ordered the thing in mid December, so I'm sure the Christmas season had something to do with it. However, Monster should have taken the time of year into consideration before they quoted delivery time.

What level transmission did you order? My transmission is fine but I'd like to plan ahead. The only concern I have is overdoing how hard the gears hit.

I got the HD level (not the mega monster) with standard torque converter. I'll say the shifting is slightly better than stock. It's as smooth as before, just not as sloppy. Actual time between gears is shorter, but by no means is it harsher. Hard to describe I guess. I've only had it in for a few days, but my initial impression is its a darn good transmission.
