new parts
I ordered my new hypertech max energy power tuner and a K&N filter injection pack today.
Should be in by Wednesday of next week. I also order the Go Rhino Dominator 2 side steps, but they ship by truck freight and won't be in for about a week or better.
I'm hoping to get the mileage up a little. I already have duals with glasspacks, next would be headers I guess.
Truck is a 97 F150 supercab 4x4 with a 4.6L.

I think I've had the mod bug all my life. My wife thinks it's a sickness. I justified it to her as getting better gas mileage out of my daily driver. I also won't mind having more power when pulling my vega drag car to the track.

The Max Energy Power Tuner is downloaded. On the first drive I didn't notice any power gain, after a full tank of gas I will know if it made any real difference. The FIPK is going on tonight at work.

Well after a full tank of fuel I have noticed about a half mile per gallon improvement. I am trying to figure out what I can do to get a noticeable improvement. I think my next step would be a set of headers (summit racing 150.00) new cats (magnaflow 500.00) gibson super truck cat back exhaust (350.00) and new O2 sensors (150.00). No I don't have a problem with the O2s but If I'm spending over a thousand on the exhaust I might as well have new ones to.
However the new stereo sounds sweet. I put in Audiobahn 6x8 AS68v in all four stock locations. Two 10 inch Audiobahn Subs 300 watt rms dual 4 ohm voice coils. A Dub Mag 175 x 2 @ 2 ohm rms amp (made by Audiobahn). A JVC CD player. I'm waiting for the Audiobahn crossovers for the mids and tweets.
