Default New here with question about my 2003.

I've got a 2003 F150 super crew 4x4 and I've got a water leak somewhere. Everytime it rains my driver side floorboard is soaking wet and the water has fried an electronic box under the dash. Well I spent $700 dollars fixing the box and now I need to figure out where the leak is. I'm thinking it's the windshield but I'm not sure. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before. Thanks.

Its your windshield and the water knocked out your GEM. Kind of a common problem with F150s 97-03.

Well I took it to 3 different Glass shops here in town and they water tested the windshield and said it wasn't leaking. They are all saying it's somewhere on the firewall, but they don't know where. If anyone knows anything that would help, I'm stumped and don't know what to do.

Still most likely the windshield...I had it on my 02 S-Cab...I needed a windshield replacement due to rock chips...& when they pulled the old window out there was no seal on the passenger side! It only leaked if I were pointed down hill & a HARD rain...never could duplicate it with a hose or anything else...

Thank you repair co. for forgiving the deductible even!

I'm "sure" your windshield is chipped & pitted necessitating a replacement by now!
