my truck is two wheel drive, but i really admire the off road look.. and my tires are in need of replacing. would it look stupid to have beefy (not rediculus) tires mounted on my current cragar soft 8's?

IMHO.... A vehicle, much like clothes... Are a matter of personal preference.
If it's of any consolation, I'll say this... I'm new to trucks, and just bought my 1st. It's a 97 XLT 4x4. I can't tell the difference between a 2 wheel drive, and a 4 wheel drive just by eyeballing them from a distance.

I can appreciate the beauty of anything that has been cared for. So... My opinion says that if you dig the look of the beefier tires....... Go for it. It's your truck.

soft 8's look pretty BA. I think it would look good on any 150 regardless of 2 or 4 wheel drive.
