Question need some help new to the ford world but loving it

hey i have a 1999 f150 4.2l v6 with really low miles on it and wanna fix it up. i have recentally bought a grille guard but foud out i dont know how to put it on. oops. how do i start this project?

some of those gaurds are specific to 4x4 and 2wd so you might wanna check up on that, and some of the 2wd require "minor trimming" it should have brackets that bolt to the frame then the actual gaurd should bolt on to the brackets i would gues. It depends on who makes it i would say, if all else fails take it to a body shop so if it does need trimming you know it is done right and if it gets screwed up its on them

its a 2wd and thanks that helps a lot my family owns a diner and there is a car club that comes in every saturday morning so i will see what they say (like 3 of the 7 guys own shops) oh and it is a westin grille guard

i checked out the grille gaurds by westin on autoanything.com and they have an option for a 2wd. In the comments section on the bottom one guy said it was pretty easy when he had 2 people do it. It says that you have to cut off the air damn to install. Anyways here is the link to the site where i found it.
