Need more power** too slow**

Wait until your on your own with student loans, rent/mortgage, girlfriend/wife. Then tell me how long it takes you to save a grand. I had sooo much cash flow back then.
Ramen was nasty when I lived at home during high school and college. I'll be damned if it isn't a delicious gift from God after paying my own way for a few years.

Efans and your tune are the only cheap mods that will get you a little more noticeable power. Until you regear. You'll definately feel a difference with those mods. Long tube headers will help too.

I think you are trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. These trucks are heavy and underpowered and to make any serious power it costs a pile of money..
Remember unless you are in a Roush or Foose edition or even a Lightning, these are not performance vehicles..

Every little thing you can do will help a little...gearing is a good option but it will kill fuel economy as your revs will go up at hiway speeds. It will give the kick in the pants feeling though.
Programmers, exhaust, intake, e-fans and perhaps a shift kit will help as well...
If money wasn't an option, I'd say find a supercharged HD of our vintage and then all would be good...
One of my friends wasn't happy with the power of his truck so he traded it for a S/C HD edition-although it wasn't a 4X4, he was pretty happy with it...
